Our story started with a free Facebook ad. At that time, Simone Vega, our owner and lead designer worked for a financial firm on Wall Street. With admittedly no clue how to plan a wedding, she decided she wanted to give it a try. To her surprise, a week after posting the ad offering her services, she received a call from a bride.
From that first wedding, Simone recognized that she had the skill and passion to become a successful wedding and event planner. Since that time, she has become a seasoned event planner with the tenacity to take on the seemingly impossible and make it practically flawless, planning close to 100 weddings and events throughout New York City and beyond.

Simone Vega’s positive outlook and tireless work ethic have led to her immense success as a wedding and event planner over the last 15+ years. Drawing her inspiration directly from her clients, she listens to their dreams and makes them a reality.
Simone has taught for Lovegevity Wedding Planning Institute, coached and mentored others in her industry, and spoken at various event planning seminars and workshops. Her work has been featured in magazines and blogs such as Munaluchi Bridal, Brides, Mod Wedding, Wedding Chicks and Inside Weddings.
Simone Vega Events has been honored to receive the Wedding Wire Best of Weddings Awards for 2014 - 17 and The Knot Best of Weddings Award for 2019. Simone was a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants and served as the LNG Director for Brooklyn ABC.
We are available for as much as “full planning and design” or as little as “eight weeks wrap-up and Wedding Day Management.” Regardless of your selected package, customer service remains our top priority. Our number one goal is to help you feel less stressed and less confused.
